UNEP/GRID-Arendal partners with
Students on Ice Antarctica University Expedition 2011

GRID-Arendal’s John Crump is heading to the deep south as part of the Students on Ice Antarctic University Expedition 2011.
GRID-Arendal is a partner with Students on Ice and John joins two dozen educators and about 60 students from universities in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Sweden and elsewhere aboard the M/V Ushuaia. If the satellite links work, he’ll be blogging regularly from the southern ocean as the expedition visits the South Shetland Islands, the Antarctic Peninsula and other locations.
